I haven't seen an update for a while so I checked manually. It reported no updates.

No problem, I was about to log out when I noticed some reports in the log file:

Code:
Dec 6 01:55:01 Minas-Tirith update_check.py: [freenasOS.Configuration:702] Got http error HTTP Error 404: Not Found
[snip]
Dec 6 10:36:09 Minas-Tirith manage.py: [freenasOS.Configuration:702] Got http error HTTP Error 404: Not Found

Seems to be just today. I'm inclined to think the FreeNAS update server is down, but seeing as there are no other reports of it, maybe it's just me?

Anyone else seeing this?

I'm on FreeNAS-9.10.1-U4 (ec9a7d3).

Thank you.

Worked from here just now. If your ISP is like mine, short-term or long-term outages are just an added free benefit.

Hmm, just tried it manually and did not get a new 404 error in the log. So I guess it was a short term thing.

Thanks for the reply!

If I see this again in the future, does anyone know which URL it checks? Probably any web browser on my network would report the same thing, but if it doesn't, then I know my FreeNAS suddenly cannot see the Internet. I suppose I could ping from the FreeNAS shell though.

Hm, now I'm seeing some 404s. Checking on it now.
