When doing a "Check now" under System/Update in the GUI I've got an "Update server could not be reached" message for quite some time.

I've also got the following messages:
Code:
Jan 27 09:32:43 freenas manage.py: [freenasOS.Configuration:613] Got http error HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Jan 27 09:32:43 freenas manage.py: [freenasOS.Configuration:630] Unable to load [u'http://update-master.freenas.org/FreeNAS/FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE/LATEST']: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Jan 27 09:32:43 freenas manage.py: [freenasOS.Update:773] Could not find latest manifest due to HTTP Error 404: Not Found

freenas-update -v check returns:
Code:
TryGetNetworkFile([u'http://update-master.freenas.org/FreeNAS/FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE/LATEST'])
Got http error HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Unable to load [u'http://update-master.freenas.org/FreeNAS/FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE/LATEST']: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Received exception during download phase, cannot update

I'm running FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201605170422 and I haven't changed anything for months.

I know this is not the first time such an issue is reported. I've seen similar bug reports closed as user-configuration-issue.
My box seems to be able to access the internet and resolve names. Apparently the only issue is with the freenas update site.

Any help in troubleshooting the issue is welcome.

I had a similar issue... I then clicked and choose 9.10 stable and it updated straight away.

Thanks for the replies.
It seems 9.3.1/latest is the same as the one I'm currently running.
I'll think about updating to 9.10 (either through the GUI or a clean install).
