Looks like a temporary error. Are you still seeing these?

This is normal.

You are getting this error, because the FreeNAS update server has been acting out for about 4 days. It is randomly reporting 404's, or not responding to inquiries. What you are seeing there is the automatic nightly update-checker being pissed off that it couldn't check for updates.

Everything is fine on your end. I assume they will sort the server out on their end.

Are you still having the problem? ixSystems was aware of a problem with the CDN, but that should now be resolved.

there were no more messages today. i assume the update check is done daily, so this seems fixed.

I'm still seeing this issue today. I can't get updated to 9.10 and I have an outage window now! damn!

EDIT, wrong year. but same issue. I'm trying to go from 9.3-STABLE to 9.10-STABLE.

Please create a new thread with the exact errors you are getting when you try to update.

Also, have you tried saving your config, burning 9.10 to a new stick, and restoring your config?
