It should show you a list of interfaces below that along with a number to select (like 0, 1, 2, etc). Enter the number to "Select" the interface and then the you will get an option to delete it. *** If I recall correctly, all based on memory right now.

But it looks like that the NIC is not being recognized by the system despite the fact that in the BIOS the onboard NIC is disabled.
My guess is that "em0" is the new NIC, since you did disable the onboard NIC.

So... configure the new interface, similar to this:

If i do that nothing happens
Can you post a screenshot of the console or shell session where 'nothing happens' after you run the ifconfig command?

The reason @gpsguy is asking for the output of ifconfig is because that will tell us whether or not the driver for your NIC supports WOL.

Getting back to more basic stuff... are you able to browse to the FreeNAS GUI interface? Did you set up your new NIC with a static IP address? Or did you use DHCP, i.e., an address assigned by your router? To make WOL work, you really need to use a static IP address on your FreeNAS server.

In general, the more information you can provide us, the more likely it is that we'll be able to help you -- terse comments like "It doesn't work" or "Nothing happens", with no information provided, don't give us much of a clue. Towards that end, you might want to give us all the details about your system, per the forum rules.

Did you configure and are you using the new Intel NIC (em0)? The last character in the interface name is a zero.

@gpsguy
Yes of course i did!
@Spearfoot
As what a screenshot concerns, that is not possible due to the fact that i have many difficulties with Windows 8.1 at the moment and with the tablet i don't know how to make a screenshots and besides that with the tablet there is no keyboard.

Can you take a picture of the screen with a smartphone and email it to yourself? Then choose the "upload a file" opton (next to post reply).

Did you press "enter" after typing the command. It looks like the cursor is at the end of line.
