Hey All -

Coming from a Synology box, where you can simply open a user (or multiple users) at once and select their permissions on a given share (Read Only, Read/Write, List, etc) it's unclear to me how to perform the same task in FreeNAS.

As an example, if I have a user called "arq" which will need read only access to all the existing shares (datasets?) so it can upload to a cloud drive for backup purposes.. how is that accomplished? For clarity, the actual Arq Backup software will be running on a windows server.... the server is accessing the shares via SMB logged in as "arq"

I created the arq user just fine, but mapping that user to existing shares so it can have read access (via SMB) to the shares while the current user has their existing permissions is where I'm running into a wall.

Thanks
