Unable to use brand new HDD due to Partition type 6a898cc3-1dd2-11b2-99a6-080020736631 not found

Hi all

I am truly banging my head against a wall here.
The issue I have is I want wanting to add a new 4tb iron wolf HDD into my system. I already have another 4tb iron wolf in it and it's working fine.

The issue I have is that when ever I go to create a new pool with it I get the same message each time

Partition type 6a898cc3-1dd2-11b2-99a6-080020736631 not found on sda

I have tried doing the following
Reinstall of scale -- no change
Smart test comes back fine
Full wipe with zeros -- no change
Full wipe with random numbers -- no change
Tried fdisk -- no luck there
Go back to core - works fine no issues - upgrade to scale and pooll is offline.
Export pool and try to import - unable to import it

I have spend the last fews nights going over different forum questions talking about this but I still can't get an answer or a workaround on this.
I really would like to move up to scale but if it's working in core.......

I'm currently out but will post specs etc in a bit

Unable to create new Pool ([EFAULT] Partition type 6a898cc3-1dd2-11b2-99a6-080020736631 not found on sda)

I am unable to create a pool consisting of a single SSD to use for VMs in Scale. I have tried deleting partitions using fdisk as suggested here: Unable to Create Stripe Pool with One NVMe AIC I see this is an error that is known but haven't been able to find a solution to get it working...

Seems a possible common issue on Scale, and after doing various things, a final reboot is needed before being able to then use the drives...
