Unable to update - Error: [Errno 5] Input/output error

Hello,
I have a test system running TrueNAS Core 12.0-U7 and I'm unable to download updates...
I click on Updates Available, Download Updates, No (to save the config), Download....
It starts then immediately gives me the following error;

Error: [Errno 5] Input/output error

Anyone seen that before?

Sketchy, id make sure your disks are all good. What are your system and or boot device(s)? Be wary of USB

The system is about a 10yr old AMD consumer type motherboard with 6 x 3G SATA ports onboard. Boot device is a 1 month old 120GB Kingston SSD and I'm not using any USB drives or sticks anywhere...
Also just noticed, yesterday it has given me this Warning:

The following system core files were found: zpool.core. Please create a ticket at https://jira.ixsystems.com/ and attach the relevant core files along with a system debug. Once the core files have been archived and attached to the ticket, they may be removed by running the following command in shell: 'rm /var/db/system/cores/*'.


Not sure what to do with this information?​

Yeah ive not seen this either, something is wonky my friend, not sure what though. Input output error would lead me to think something is hokey with that 120. Long smart test everything. Keep eye on dmesg for any other hints.

Hmm that command just spent about a minute spitting out reams and reams of output, I cannot even get to the top of the shell page...
I think I might be best starting again from scratch
