I have freenas 8 working on Acer Aspire r3600 with internal 500gb drive. I have succesfully created a windows share on it viewable in Windows 7 no problem.
If I now connect an external usb drive to the Aspire it is detected by Freenas and the share I create called /mnt/extusb1 for example is shown as a folder in win7 but I cant open it without a permissions error.
I have CIFS running, what is the problem here?
