SOLVED unable to login to SMB

i have cleared credentials, changed passwords, checked ACL's, created a new user. still not able to log in to my SMB shares from my win 10 desktop. only change to the system was adding a pcie intel nic because of the realtek garbage.

I think it is a Windows 10 or similar issue:

I found this online earlier today as I was getting in the same predicament. I think the issue is because of Freenas non trusted certificate possibly:

The command you type is as follow:

gpedit.msc > Computer Config > Administrative Templates > Network > Lanman Workstation > Enable insecure guest logons > Enable

actually, i fixed it, sort of. by joining windows and freenas to my domain, i was able to do STORMAX\<username>. it's weird because it worked before...

hi guys, I m new to the forum and I have an issue to access the smb shared folder from windows 10 during the windows ad authentication and the issue was resolved when I updated 11.2U5 to 11.2U6. Now the issue come online to kill me, so give me the solution

is the pc you're trying to access from part of the domain?
