Below is the original specs of my home network:

Server:
FreeNAS-11-STABLE
Intel Xeon e3-1220v5 @ 3.0GHz
1 GBE re0 Interface on 192.168.1.247
10 GBE ix0 Interface on 192.168.100.1[via X540T1 NIC PCIe]

Desktop PC:
Windows 10 with latest update
Ryzen 7 2700 @ 3.2GHz
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller on 192.168.1.34
Intel(R) Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X540-T2 on 192.168.100.3

1 GBE connection via DLINK DGS-108 switch
10GBE peer to peer connection between Server and Desktop

I am able to map both 1GBE & 10GBE server connections successfully as Drive M: & N: respectfully, on my desktop and I had this setup for more than a year until I recently bought the NETGEAR GS110MX switch. Details https://www.netgear.com/support/product/GS110MX.aspx

I am currently testing the following configuration:
Server:
10 GB ix0 Interface on 192.168.1.193[via X540T1 NIC PCIe]

Desktop PC:
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller on 192.168.1.34

The 2 machines now connected via the GS110MX.

I am able to access WebUI and run PLEX, but I just cannot get the 10GBE drive mapping on the desktop to work. I encountered the following errors:

Window Network Diagnostics
error code:0x80070035
The network path was not found. The remote device or resource won't accept the connection

The device or resource (192.168.1.193) is not set up to accept connections on ports 'The File and Printer printer sharing (SMB)'

I didn't change anything on FreeNAS SMB but I checked and re-checked it anyways; it's still there.

Appreciate all the help I can get. It doesn't work no matter which port I've used on the GS110MX switch.

Thank you & Regards

I don't have any spare gigabit NIC to play around right now. Is there any specific reason(s) for your recommendation? Thanks

Realteks are notorious for underperforming and losing connections. Refer to the recommended hardware in the Resources or do a search for Realtek in the forums. Removing that as the possible culprit is a good place to start in diagnosing/fixing your issue.
