Unable to find domain controllers

After updating from 11.1 to 11.2 FreeNas will no longer "Find" the domain controllers

Even though I can:
ping the domain from Freenas shell
ping the DC from Freenas shell
verify the dc forest from Freenas shell
ping freenas from DC

and
have a DC host entry to freenas
have rebooted freenas (tank)

OS Version:
FreeNAS-11.2-BETA2
(Build Date: Aug 1, 2018 17:7)

Processor:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz (24 cores)

Memory:
32 GB

HostName:
tank.global.8i.com

DomainControllerName:
8IWLGDC01

Domain:
global.8i.com

What AD version is your domain?
