unable to download plugins

I'm sorry if this has been posted before but I cant seem to resolve this issue. I have set the default DNS to googles 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and im still getting this error anyone know how to fix this.

Do you have entries for nameservers and default gateway on Network>Global Configuration?

Can you reach the internet from Shell? Try ping hp.com

yes i do have entries and when i enter that into shell it says cursh>

So you are not getting out from TrueNAS to the internet, it seems, otherwise you would expect to see something like this when you ping hp.com:

I guess you can't ping 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 from Shell either?

So, let's start from scratch - please read the Forum Rules (red link on the masthead) and provide the information listed there against the bullets, plus information on your network set up: your default gateway IP address (likely the IP address of your router), your FreeNAS GUI IP address, the nameserver IP addresses you have entered on Network>Global Configuration.
