I came in this morning to a FreeNAS that was not available on the network. I checked my logs and saw no error messages, yesterday's Rsync to another FreeNAS ran without error. I was unable to reach the server via web or ssh.

The console simply scrolls errors so fast I cannot gain access. I am attaching a image of the console (taken from a Java based KVM)

It looks like the three key salute is my only option, then see where I stand when it returns.

Have you pulled the network cable and see if the error stops so you can see what's going on?

You do need a 3-key salute.

It looks like your SATA controller (siis) is potentially locked up due to a failing/failed disk.

So reboot your box and look at your disks.. closely. short and long SMART tests are in order.. ;)

I was afraid of that, I hate eyes closed/fingers crossed rebooting. Everything came up mostly well, ada13 is failing, we had a drive in ada9 unused and I have used it to replace ada13. Zpool status shows the replacement went well and resilvering is in progress. I will check the admin guide when it is done to see what is involved with detaching and physically replacing ada13.

Thanks,
