U4 to U4.1 corruption of boot disk

Hi All

non production home box in HP gen 8 everything was showing optimal so decided to upgrade using the gui

on reboot it never came back just losts of hex data and then system halts

diags in the ddm pass so doing a reload now what post install config will I need to do to pull the drives 2 x 3Gb mirror back into the management inc jails

Ok when trying to boot latest from usb get the same is there an issue with hp gen 8 ?

Which version were you running before the upgrade? If it was a version before 11.2, have you tried the instructions in the Resolving Boot Issues section of https://www.ixsystems.com/blog/library/freenas-11-2-release/?

I ended up doing an install and rolled it back to 11.1 not lost any data but did loose a ddm when a cycled the power my guess it was on the way out anyway

found some other posts saying the BTX error is due to 11.2 not liking the B120i raid card in the gen8 microserver
