hello,

I was in TrueNAS Core without issues but upgraded to Scale due to some features I wanted.

It seems this developed an issue with permissions.
I have my shared folders configured with groups so I can easily add or remove access from shares.
Since the update if a user creates a file/folder, permissions are respected and it’s created with security measures only for that user. Any other user that tries to access that folder can’t do it.

I found that if I edit dataset permissions and set them recursively it applies the permissions as it should and add the specific group for that folder and every user can access it again.

I must be missing any configuration somewhere but can’t find how to bypass this issue.
My ACL only have root as owner and the group with full control.

Any clues in how can I solve this issue?
