This issue does not exist when replicating from SCALE to CORE, but does exist when replicating from SCALE to SCALE. As a result, this issue is not apparent unless both systems are on SCALE.

What happened to me
  1. Snapshot and replicate entire 'ix-applications' dataset from System A (SCALE) to System B (CORE)
  2. Reboot System B
  3. Everything works as expected
  4. Migrate System B to SCALE
  5. Reboot System B
  6. System B (now SCALE) stalls on 'Import ZFS Pools'
  7. Boot System B (CORE backup), delete previously replicated 'ix-applications' dataset
  8. Restart System B (back to SCALE)
  9. System B boots successfully
  10. System A (SCALE) replicates its 'ix-applications' snapshot to System B (SCALE)
  11. System B is no longer able to boot until the 'ix-applications' dataset is removed

Realize this is somewhat of an edge case, but hope this helps anyone that might find themselves in the same situation.

Can you confirm the specific version of SCALE (sorry.. 22.02.2 is in the thread title)

If it is 22.02.2, please "report-a-bug".
