TrueNAS installer stuck at “boot mode” screen

I’m currently having an issue where, once I select “Boot via BIOS” nothing happens. It’s been like this for around an hour now. I’m looking for either a fix or some sort of confirmation that it’s actually doing something.

I’m using an unmarked 32gb SanDisk drive to boot and a Philips 64gb Flash Drive (closest thing I could find online was the model number, sorry:FM64FD06B/00) on an old Toshiba laptop. I’m really new to this, so please go easy on me and use small words. I can’t find anything online on this. Thanks!
