TrueNas installed, sees disks under disk tab but cant add pool

Hello and thanks for any help I have repurposed an old HDD and small nvme SSD into an old case with a weird OEM HP motherboard.

I have repurposed an old HDD and small nvme SSD into an old case with a weird OEM HP motherboard. I have installed TrueNas. Under the disks tab I can see the two drives. However, when I try to create a pool for Plex neither drive is available. I have next to no skill in this area but I have done some baisc searches and in the shell I ran 'geom disk list' which also showed both disks.
