TrueNAS disconnects from network briefly while idle at seemingly random multiples of 5 minutes

I've noticed a massive amount of notifications on my network controller indicating TrueNAS has disconnected from the network. It happens at various different multiples of five minutes but always a multiple of five minutes. i.e. 9:35, 10:05, 10:40, 11:15 and so on. Oddly, I have a Plex server running in a jail and it doesn't result in the same notifications; it never disconnects. When the disconnections happen, the system is idle. I can't figure out where to begin troubleshooting. The network is all UniFi hardware from Ubiquiti and really, as far as I know, it could be the cause too. The TrueNAS setup is a cobbled together machine from mostly spare parts, but it behaves very well other than this odd network connectivity quirk.

This is really more of a curiosity than a problem, as the disconnections seems to be brief and only occur when no one is accessing the machine. I just really want understand the behavior.

That is indeed odd. Suggest looking at the output of 'dmesg' or '/var/log/messages' to see if there's any similar issue being reported on the TrueNAS side every 5 minutes. If its only reporting on the network controller side, then it may not even be visible to TrueNAS.

Welcome to the forums!

You have posted a problem of the "my car won't start" variety, which is likely to result in low quality answers or even none at all.

Please help us help you by posting detailed information about your system, especially including, but not limited to, detailed information about your network setup. The Forum Rules, helpfully linked at the top of every page in red, includes some guidance as to how to build a problem report and hardware description that is more likely to result in some useful responses.

As an addendum to my question. The network setup is as follows:
I have the router provided by my ISP in bridge mode connected to a UniFi Security Gateway. The USG is connected to a UniFi POE switch which the TrueNas system is also connected to. I have 3 UniFi access points around the house along with a UniFi Cloud Key Gen2+ that are also on that same switch. The UniFi SDN Controller runs on the Cloud Key. There are two subnets on my LAN, but one is just for IoT things and shouldn't interact with this part of the network hopefully.

The details of the hardware that TrueNAS is running on is now appended to my signature and should be visible; but in case it's not, I've included it here too:

TrueNAS System:
MoBo = Asus Prime A320M-K
CPU = AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
RAM = 2 x Corsair DDR4 @ 8GB
HDD = 2 x Western Digital Red @ 4TB (Raid1), 2 x Seagate IronWolf @ 8TB (Raid1)
SSD(Boot Drive) = Intel NVME SSD 660p @ 512 GB
