So recently I had some bad luck with my old Asus board and had to switch to a supermicro H8DG6-F. Freenas boots using my old USB installs but I do not see any ethernet adapters so I can't reset up my network. I confirmed that it is not disabled in the bios as I do not see any options to disable the LAN itself. Only the option rom which I did enable just to ensure its seen by everything. I can see my switch sees link to the ports but no go. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you checked for jumpers to disable LAN? On my board there's physical jumpers to disable LAN ports - but I don't knkow if these jumpers kills the ports totally (and then giving no link).

EDIT: there's a jumper according to the manual "JPL1LAN 1 Enable/DisablePins 1-2 (Enabled)"
