How do I get back my data and the backup that are on the system?

I could plug in a USB stick and reinstall TrueNAS there. But I haven't saved the configuration yet

The current installation was done on an SSD in RAID1, but unfortunately this didn't work in the end.

What is the best way to proceed? can someone please help

thanks
Patrick

Welcome to the forums!

Sorry you are experiencing problems.

Please start with a detailed description of the hardware in your problem system, including information on the storage and boot drive disk controller(s) and that for the drives also.

TrueNAS System
LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i
HDD Toshiba 300GB 10K SAS (RAIDZ2)
SSD Samsung 480GB (RAIDZ2)

when i reset the server over IPMI, LSI Controller does not come back. I will quickly order a new controller
when i turn off the server over IPMI, wait and start again, the controller boot and find the disks

when booting

but now nothing

i wait for the new controller and hope i will be boot.

I'm curious to see how this evolves. I haven't heard of anyone actually having issues (other than performance issues in some scenarios) with the mrsas stack. I don't know enough about the RAID controllers to know whether to be worried, but the fact that the controller was spitting out messages about mfi is a bad sign, independently of any immediate problems here.
