Hi all,

if fruit:time machine = yes is set for the share, is the file .com.apple.timemachine.supported still necessary?

Thanks,
Patrick

Thanks. Yes, the parameter is there because I checked "Time Machine" in the UI, of course. And since I found out about fruit:time machine max size it seems I can get rid of all those poorly documented dot-files.

I personally prefer to use user quotas in ZFS over the fruit parameter (use separate dataset for time machine backup).
