Hello all, my system is starting to laking some resorces for me, so I'm planing a upgrade/change.

This is my system:
  • Supermicro X10SL7-F IT Mode
  • Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3
  • Crucial 32GB DDR3 1600MHz ECC (2 x 16 GB)
  • 4 x WDRed 2TB RAIDz2
  • 1x WDGreen 2TB
  • 1x WDGreen1TB

My Goal:
  • MUST keep micro-ATX form factor, space limitations
  • Bump the number of drives, I want to have more space and more pools, my ideia s to make (but planning to grow in the future)
    • 4 x WDRed 4TB RAIDz2
    • 4 x WDRed 2TB RAIDz2
    • 3 x WDGreen 2TB RAIDz1
    • 1 x WDGreen 2TB
  • Change my system to Registed ECC RAM, I want to bump my ECC RAM to a minimum of 64GB and more
  • Bump the number of cores to allow more VM's, I would a minimum of 8 cores with 16 Threads
  • Room to improve in VM's and Jails
    • NextCloud
    • Emby/Plex (Transcoding)
    • NodeRed
    • HomeAssistant
    • Syncthing
  • 10 Gb Lan would be nice, but not a must.
My Suggestion of System (I'll update):
Thank you in advance

I've just upgraded my X10 to a X11 and the additional 32GB of RAM to 64 provides a nice bit of the headroom for all the jails (9) and 3 Linux VM's I have running 24x7. The Xeon v6 CPU is more than up to the task, as I suspect the v3 would be. I also doubled the HDD storage with larger 8TB drives and moved the jails across to SSDs in a mirror. I might increase the size of them at some point and move the VMs to SSD too.

Your MB is the X11SSL-CF correct? The main reason that I would like to go with the X11SPM-TPF is the option to go registed memory and lower the price of the memory and have a lot of room to go up from 64Gb.

Yes. I wanted the built-in SAS controller so I could connect more drives without a HBA
