Is there any way these seeming null prefixes could be avoided? Should they be assigned by the author? Is it forcing the presence of a prefix but the author is unable or chooses not to define one? I see these prefix adjustments in the mod log and don't really understand what they're about but if there is any way something somewhere could be adjusted to make it easier for anyone involved, I'd be happy to investigate and test some changes until we find a solution that works best.

Since I added a prefix to a thread, I now recognize that this imperfect message simply signifies a new prefix added. I don't really like the log message.
