This field is required - Home Directory / add & edit users

I see this has been brought up in the past but I haven't had this issue before upgrading to 8.3 (also in 8.3.1.) I get "this field is required" when adding new users or editing old ones. I noticed there was a work-around that if you turn off AFP and reboot it will allow you to edit users, but as soon as you turn afp back on it comes up again.

Is there a workaround other than re-booting?

By 8.3.1 you mean 8.3-BETA1, which isn't the same thing.

No I really mean 8.3.1 (alpha.) (FreeNAS-8.3.1-ALPHA-r12073-x64)

Uh.. if you are trying to report a bug it would be better to have the latest non-RELEASE version. Using an Alpha release when we are on BETA1 is a waste of time. All you will do is tell us of a problem in an Alpha build.

We don't really care about the Alpha build unless something worked in Alpha and doesn't in Beta.

Please install the BETA1 and if the same problem persists then report back. ;) Makes it easier for everyone.

It existed in 8.3 (FreeNAS-8.3.0-BETA1-x64 (r12054)) this is why I posted.

As a side note I tried the alpha.
