The best configuration for MAC-WINDOWS file sharing

Hi,
I'm relatively new FreeNAS user. i have small office and PC with 8giga of RAM and currently 3 drive of 500giga.
and i'm looking for the best way to share files between MAC and Windows

can someone suggest a configuration for that

You would get a lot more answers if you would follow the forum rules before opening a thread, mainly because we need more info. Also reading the manual might help, especially the Sharing chapter. ;)
But anyway, CIFS seems like to way to go here indeed.

Sorry, Next time i'll post with more information.
i will go with the CIFS.
the last time i've setup a FraaNAS system for OSX and Windows with both CIFS and AFP, i encountered read/wright permission issue.
Windows user can't create file in folder that created in OSX and stuff like that. Of course all the users have read/wright permission.
Permission, it's a big word, i guess ;)
just want to make sure i'm not missing something big about that.

let me know if we need additional information.

the last time i've setup a FraaNAS system for OSX and Windows with both CIFS and AFP, i encountered read/wright permission issue.
If you were accessing the same share via CIFS and AFP at the same time, that would cause problems. One protocol per share is the way to go.
