My system has been randomly rebooting for the last coupe of weeks. Having search the forum as best as I can, I have updated from 9.10 to 11.1 u6 but it hasn't resolved the problem.
I can't see anything in /var/log/messages (posted below - I know there are a couple of unreadable sectors but those appeared after the rebooting started happening), there is nothing in the IMPI event log and there doesn't seem to be a consistant time of day that it occurs.
What else I can check?

Have you monitored temps?

Was this a new supply to this build?
I have updated from 9.10
How long has this been running?
I know there are a couple of unreadable sectors but those appeared after the rebooting started
Probably want to address those after the rebooting issue is cleared up.
I have seen bad power supplies cause reboots. That is probably the thing I would look at next. Do you have another power supply that you can test this with by swapping it out?

Don't have one to hand but I guess this is a good suggestion

Thought I'd come back to mention that my system has been up for just over 2 weeks without any reboots since changing the PSU, so I think it's safe to say it's been resolved

That is great.

Did you address the hard drive issue yet?
