hi if I set the nfs permissions on the sysnology nas drive
ie
mount is this
mount -t nfs 192.168.1.120:/volume2/tvdownloads /mnt/remoteshare
no issues that mounts
if the mount is a share ie stored on mycloud drive etc not on the sinology you can not set the nfs permissions
so when you try
mount -t nfs 192.168.1.120:/volume3/maintest/temp/tvshows /mnt/plexmain1
that comes back with permissions demined
is the away to set the nfs permissions on a sysnology nas for shared folders

thanks for your time

You need to set the permissions on the dataset being shared. What are its permissions?
