So I installed Syncthing (Truecharts) on my Scale NAS.

This is my current sync speed ... is this normal? Seems quite slow ...

How are the systems connected ? Without that info, saying anything about what to expect isn't possible

For comparision I also installed Resilio Sync (truecharts) and there I have way faster speed out-of-the-box.

I transfer from my Macbook Pro (M1) via Ethernet (1G) to my Truenas (1G).

Ok ... I think I just stick with Resilio. Seems to work as expected and perfect for my use-case.

Just had to mount a second additional hostpath ... otherwise it was saving in the ix-applications folder:

Not to highjack but @pixelwave how did you configure for the main root of the pool to show up. I tried to install the Resilio into PVC and add a second mount where all my crap is stored.

But in the Resilio i can't seem to get it to use the second path I added. Doesent seem like there is anything apart from your thread when i googled. I keep getting error that my config file prevents me when I try to get out of the docker directory.

... from my limited understanding. Instead of "/DigitalAssets" you need to put in "/sync" in the Mount Path box. Because it is still a docker container and there it is written that the container mounting point needs to reference to "sync".

volumes:
- /path/to/config:/config
- /path/to/downloads:/downloads
- /path/to/data:/sync

Your local dataset folder also needs to have permissions for the group "apps" to read/write. Not sure if it also needs to be the owner though ...

That way it worked for me. I tried to mount another additional hostpath storage but it does not seem to work somehow.

In the resilio GUI you will then see the root folder "/sync" which is storing in the location on your pool you specified before. In your case "mnt/digitalassets1"
