I'm using a freenas box that has a cifs share setup on it. I'd like to replicate this to a windows share on a different server.

What I've tried to do to make this work is to setup a rsync task on the FreeNAS box that is to sync with DeltaCopy on the remote Windows server.

It doesn't seem to replicate. What am I missing?

I've checked a remote windows client using deltacopy client to the Windows server and that works without any problems. I have also checked port 873 on the firewall and that is not blocked.

Well, what's the error message when you manually run the rsync job from command line?

When I run

rsync -a /mnt/mydir 192.168.1.x:/remotedir/

I get connection refused

However, I don't know if I'm using the correct syntax to sync remotely, also when I create the rsync task in FreeNAS, I do notice that a task for a rsync module shows 22 as the port, even though I'm not trying to use rsync to SSH

try going the other way.

have the Windows box pull the data from FreeNAS instead of trying to push

From Windows, using the DeltaCopy client, I can push to the FreeNAS when it's setup as a server. I don't know how to have the DeltaCopy client pull
