Hi,

I've been cleaning up my nas box this weekend, removing videocard etc, and the last thing bothering me is the layout of the cables. I'd like to switch tw disks to another sata port on my motherboard, so i can cleanly route all cables on the inside. My question, can i do this? Does freenas look at the disk id's to mount the raid arrays, or does it purely look at the sata ports?

Thanks!

Yes, it will work fine, you'll see a change for the numbers, ada0 can become ada1 and other but all will perfectly working!! ;)

All disk Have an internal ID for restoring!
