I like the idea behind plex for remote streaming, but I really can't use the transcoding capabilities well since my C2750D4i Intel Atom is not up to the task.
I came across ClusterPlex https://github.com/pabloromeo/clusterplex and it looks like a good solution for my needs. I have 2 Mac Minis, an Intel NUC and an M1 Max Macbook Pro that can server as extended "transcoders", which sounds a lot better than letting TrueNAS transcode by itself.
Has anyone tried integrating either the official Plex or Truecharts Plex with ClusterPlex and got it to work?
