supermicro X8DTT-F not readin 3 TB HDD space

Hi

I need you advice/help, I am running FreeNAS with 4 3TB HDD but FreeNAS only sees 2.73 of space, when booting I BIOS says 3000, any idea if the MOBO doesn't support 3 TB?

Disk manufacturers market disks with sizes specified in TB, where the 1 TB = 1000 GB = 1,000,000 MB = 1,000,000,000 KB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes.

The rest of the industry is still using the traditional system based on multiples of 1024, as everything in computers is in binary, i.e. numbers are in base 2. 1024 is 2^10, or 10000000000 expressed in base 2

Sizes in multiples of 1024 are expressed in TiB. 3 TB * (1000/1024)^4 = 2.73 TiB
