I've seen a lot of newer SAN devices based off the Supermicro SBB platform, to include even TruNAS. Nimble also uses it, so would freenas soon?
This would be awesome in a enterprise environment, as you can just have the two servers in case of failure. Wouldn't need replication or two units to accomplish what a lot of SAN's do.
