So im getting around 2mb/s backup from my 2011 MBP to my NAS build. Trying to figure out what is causing the slowdown. What can I check or do to figure out what is causing it.

32gb ram 4x1TB drives in Z2, Xeon 1230v5 on NAS side.

150Mbps upload and download speeds
Transfer is over Wifi. network specs.

Any help is appreciated.

FreeNAS build (from System -> Information)?

How is the network configured (eg the client uses wireless to a router which the FreeNAS system is wired into)?

Also, what is the output of ifconfig?

Also you are on point for network config. Macbook pro is over wifi to router. NAS is ethernet to router. Router is 802.11AC capable. MBP is 802.11N.

Anyone have ANY thoughts at all or am I to assume that no one has any knowledge about Time Machine or how to help?

Guess no one has any information as to slow Time Machine backups over WiFi. I figured someone else would have responded by now.
