Suggested hardware for iSCSI nas build

Hello All,

The build that I'm planning will be mainly use for VMware iSCSI and PLEX

Here are the hardware I picked so far:

SUPERMICRO MBD-X10SLM-F-O uATX Server Motherboard
Intel Core i3-4160 3.6 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I34160 Desktop Processor
Crucial 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ECC Unbuffered DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
x4 - WD Red WD40EFRX 4TB
PSU and CASE - TBD



Also, What will be the best config for my drive. I was thinking zfs1 but I'm getting mixed reviews on it.

mod note: moved to New User Forum.

No clue what "zfs1" is. For iSCSI, you probably want lots of RAM and to use mirror vdevs for your disks.
