Hello FN users,
I had a FN 8.0.4 Raid 1 Server running in a small Workgroup. Suddenly the MOBO died, and after several repair attempts I ve bought a new HP N40L Microserver and a CF to SATA card. After I've updated the new MAC address in the Router, I've installed the two HDDs in the first two bays, inserted CF card and connected a terminal to the new server. At first boot up the CF card was recognized, freenas started without an issue and the console reported the correct IP Adresse. Next I logged into a Windows machine and all my Network drives are allready mounted. Viola, nothing more to do, all pools are healty.
