First Q. Am I alone in being stumped trying to install latest NC 20 plugin, both in 11.3 and also 12RC1

For 11.3 I can't get past the untrusted domain, despite all the editing of config.php I can think of
For 12RC1 I get the log in screen, and try to use ncadmin/password combo and then it fails to connect. I've tried accessing via http and https throughout variously
Tried via DHCP and NAT without significant change

Second Q. and its not a bug, is there any easy solution that's not out there already, (tried 50-100 google and forum results!!!)

PS Various advise suggests adding the plugin IP address to config.php (in my case FN is 192.168.0.110. NC is on 192.168.0.227) but when I add the. NC IP I can't connect at all. Restart plugin each time obviously
PPS Variously seen 192.168.0.* should work but can't connect when I tried that.

sounds similar to what is happening to me... when I try to connect, I get the Untrusted Domains screen... when I edit the config.php file and add the line for the NC server IP address.. can't connect at all...
remove the line, it connects...but still just the untrusted domains screen...
can't get past it

Hmm...this may be it... tried typing just http://192.168.1.26 (Nextcloud server) in Chrome...still no go...
but direct typed it into MS Edge... and it at least brought up the log on screen... typed credentials and yes... it then went to the Refused to Connect page and the address had in fact changed to Https.......

See similar thread but just to confirm...

I added the ip address of my jail as line 2 trusted domain.

0 => 'localhost',
1 => '192.168.0.110',
2 => '192.168.0.227',

then lower pasted this in

'overwriteprotocol' => 'http',

Bingo! You may wish to try it too. Now, YMMV about http/https but I am happy with my firewall and family access.

But maybe changing

2 => '192.168.0.227', to 2 => '192.168.0.227:443', may also do it, but just received to have found a fix
