Hello
I added 2 disks of 2 To and 1 disk of 1 To and Freenas displays me only 2.8 To instead of 5 To.
What to do ?
Thanks

You might want to read the forum rules as it will tell you what kind of information we require in order to provide you good help. Basically I'm asking for the version of FreeNAS you are running and the configuration of your pool. You might want to look in our Resources area and read up on how ZFS works because you would never have 5 To of storage if you started with 5 To before formatting. Also read the FreeNAS user guide on storage, it may shed a lot of light on your question and solution. But if you could provide the output of zpool status it would provide the answer.

Almost certainly he has striped in a 1TB disk against a mirror vdev of 2TB's. That would give him pretty much exactly what he said.

If correct, then this is a very unwise configuration in most cases :)

When I read the statement from the OP I too first thought that same thing. The good thing is it couldn't be too much data to backup and destroy/build the pool again.
