Static Nics same Subnet

I've talked about this before, but really wish someone would fix this. I want to static a couple nics in the same subnet. I can do this all day long in Esxi / Vmware. The work around I do for now is Static 1 nic then set other nics to DHCP then in my DHCP server I set that MAC to the Static IP I want. So basically I'm doing it anyway, just wish I didn't have to do it that way.

Just a thought I ran across this issue again today.

Unless they've since fixed the console menu to prevent this, you can also configure it there--but as @HoneyBadger says, it's an invalid configuration.
