Based on freebsd10.3

#pkg install opoudriere-devel git gmake cdrtools pxz python3 grub2-pcbsd xorriso grub2-efi py27-sphinx py27-sphinxcontrib-httpdomain-1.2.1

#mkdir /usr/freenas

#cd /usr/freenas

#git clone https://github.com/freenas/freenas-build

#cd freenas-build

#make checkout PROFILE=freenas9

#make release PROFILE=freenas9

wrong message:

Paging @jkh - has FreeNAS 9.10 been switched to FreeBSD 11 or is there some sort of mistake here?

Definitely has not switched to 11. OP, which URL are you following for the build instructions?

I just spoke to Kris, and he is in the process of updating our branches so that we can start doing some test builds based on FreeBSD 11. We want to make sure it doesn't break anything too badly first. Stay tuned!

I should have mentioned though the above information does not affect your original issue. Dru is on the right track. What instructions did you follow for the build??
