I'm extremely new to FreeNAS. I have a SuperMicro X5DPE-G2 Xeon MB, a 3Ware 9660 SATA controller, An IDE-CF adapter to install FreeNAS on CF, and a single SATA drive hooked up for test purposes. When I boot from a CD-ROM of FreeNAS 8.0.4 32-bit (after a bit of research, the CPUs seem to almost, but don't support 64 bit), after the menu, I eventually get :

ahd0: Someone reset channel A
ahd0: Someone reset channel A
ahd0: Someone reset channel A
ahd0: Someone reset channel A
ahd0: Someone reset channel A

I never get to the point where I have the option to install FreeNAS. I thought it might be because it wouldn't install to CF, so I put in a USB drive, with the same results. This MB has onboard SCSI, which I'm not using (And haven't figured out how to disable)

I've played with the BIOS settings a bit, but I'm pretty much out of ideas. Anyone know what might be going on?

Thanks!

ahd0 is the SCSI Disk, so you need to disable onboard SCSI, read your Board Manual, normally this board have a key conbination to access to BIOS of SCSI controller ( Crtl-A, F12, or something similar), once you enter on the onboard SCSI BIOS, you can disable it
