Hello Forum,
Have a query regarding replication of a snapshot to a remote server that is not FreeNAS. The destination server is a Proxmox system which supports ZFS and I have a three disk ZFS RAID1 configured.
I have set up the automatic creation of snapshots for a couple of my volumes, create replication tasks and copied the ssh key over to the "authorized_keys" file on the destination, however, I am still getting an error stating there is an authentication issue. The strange thing is I can do a "zfs send -i" (incremental) from the command line, using the root account, from source to destination and I am not prompted for a password so I am assuming that ssh is setup correctly. One thing I do have to do is use -F to force the overwrite though, could this be causing the issue ?
If anyone has any pointers would be greatly appreciated as I am currently running this manually which is a tad time consuming.
