Hi All,

I'm running truenas core version TrueNAS-13.0-U4. I have the pool setup and serving files with both SMB and NFS share access granted. It works.

The media share works just fine. I then tried to create the second share misc in the same pool. But this time restricted to just one user. (admin) I can see the share name in windows explorer, but can't map to it. I'm using the correct user as I can see that it will give me an unknown user/wrong password error when I try to connect with an intentionally wrong password. What I do get is this.

The share is there.

I'm at a loss. Any help or direction to look would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Did you get this solved? Did you need to change from "root" access? I am stuck here as well.

Honestly, I can't remember what I did:-| Pretty sure I ended up changing the SMB share for both of them to a different user and not allowing guest access. The main share is shared via NFS shares.
