SMB share not working?

Hi,

For some reason my SMB share has stopped working. I am not sure if an update stopped something from working.

I have 1 volume that store my media (which is not in a dataset). AFP share works fine with this, but on XBMC when I select SMB shares FreeNAS doe not show up at all.

I turned the CIFS off then on again and notice this in the log in the footer.

Any help would be great.

The failed sanity check means that Samba isn't going to start. I'd recommend you look and see if your OS is corrupt. If possible install FreeNAS to a new USB stick and import your config file. ;
)

Hey,

Yeah I have done this already. Could it be something in my config file affecting it when I load it back on?

Its very possible. Maybe try doing a fresh reconfig from scratch?

ok so I did a fresh install and got SMB working again. Now I am having more issues I think are different though.
