I setup users with their home shares pointing to;
/mnt/data/nas_home/user1
/mnt/data/nas_home/user2
SMB sharing is working on both linux and win10 machines.
I have a share defined as;
nas_home /mnt/data/nas_home/
Purpose "Private SMB Dataset and Shares" and "Use As Home Share" enabled
in kubuntu i see
//nas/homes
//nas/user1
//nas/media
in Win10 network browser i see
//homes
//user1
//media
homes and user1 are the home directory of user1 - why is there a duplicate share being shown?
I prefer the user name to show and the //homes not to show
/mnt/data/nas_home/user1
/mnt/data/nas_home/user2
