EDIT: Sorry, false report. It's problem with dolphin file manager after one of last update.
There is a problem with uploading files via SMB from Linux (windows not checked). File name length limit is ~255 for SMB but it is exceeded by ~127 characters files because of name duplication in temporary file.
Example:
Uploading file "abcdefg.txt" create at first "abcdefg.txtabcdefg.txt.part" file.
