Every time I update from 9.10-STABLE-201606270534 to anything from version 9.10.1 to version 11, my printer connected to sent digital documents to an SMB folder in the server doesn't work.
It works If I go back to boot on version 9.10-STABLE-201606270534. Also, I am able to connect to my SMB folders with the computer in any version but my printer cannot send the documents on version 9.10.1 to version 11. The picture included shows all the boot options. I deleted version 11 before taking it. The digital sender is a Kyocera 300i.

The printer probably requires ntlmv1 auth. Upgrade to 11, then under Services->SMB check the box labelled "NTLMv1 auth".

As long as this is a home setup, then more power to you. Don't run 9.10.1 in a business environment. There is a fairly awful vulnerability in Samba that can allow anyone with write access to a share to gain root on the server.

@William D Off topic, but possibly helpful to you, to take a screenshot, use the Print Screen keyboard button (usually WinKey+ PRT SCRN)
