Smart email

i am running Freenas 9.2.1.8 and am wondering how I go about checking if the email notifications for smart and scrubs is working? Thanks in advance for any help!

From the GUI, click ->system, ->settings, ->email.
at the bottom of the window click send test email.
If you have it configured properly, it should immediatly send an email to you.



AFAIK freenas does not send emails if things are working well.
