I've noticed since FreeNAS 11.x and even now with TrueNAS Core 12.0-U5.1, that when there is a lengthy replication in progress (or simply a high amount of data is being copied / written), the web GUI feels less "snappy" than normal. In some instances, the Dashboard might not load for a few seconds after logging in, or there might be a delay when trying to view the pools under Storage > Pools.
This is not to ask for troubleshooting, but to gauge from others if they notice the same phenomena?
My hardware isn't exactly enterprise-grade, but it's fairly decent: 16GB ECC DDR4, Xeon E-2144G quad-core, no VMs, no dedup
If I continue to use the GUI, it smoothes itself out over time, however it's most notable when logging into a fresh session.
UPDATE: To be more clear, the only sluggishness I notice is the web GUI (it feels less "snappy"). Everything else is fine: accessing SMB shares, SSH, using the console, streaming on Plex, etc.
